Adoption Programs

In order to adopt one of our pets you must:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Have valid identification with your current address.
  3. Be able to verify that you can have a pet where you live.
  4. Bring along any resident dogs or children for an introduction to a new dog.
  5. Understand that PawsPals reserves the right to deny any adoption for any reason.

First - Fill out the Pre-Adoption Application. Be prepared to answer questions about where the pet will sleep, the name of your landlord if you rent and the name of your vet if you have one. This form is a final check to make sure that you and your future beloved pet will get along once you both go home. Once complete, our adoption councilor will probably have some follow-up questions for you.

Second - Most of our animals need to stay with us a day or two to be spay/neutered. If your animal has already been altered, you might be able to take it home the day you are approved for the adoption. Otherwise, you can pick up your new family member shortly from the clinic.
